Dehi's starting point is not the motif —
it is the setting: the painting as a physical space for thinking.
Into this setting he places an impulse.
What emerges unfolds in a sustained dialogue
between gesture and material logic,
between guided flow and the resistance of colour.
A form recurs — in shifting states, weights, aggregates.
What it carries changes it.
Dehi calls it a vessel: not as metaphor,
but as functional description.
It holds states without naming them.
It has a boundary, an interior, a hull.
Where it diffuses, it opens.
