NEW ETCH

In the "NEW ETCH" series, a transcending of the well known smoothly polished surface of Marble is provoked by releasing the calcareous structures through different etching techniques. Surfaces reveal an appearance unexpected in texture, shape and color. The marbling emerges like a landscape in space; tridimensional and graceful. Exposed structures appear crystalline, fragile and delicate - entirely freed by it's weight and massiveness.
