Fabian Dehi is a Hamburg-based painter whose work emerges from impulse and a deliberate interplay between control and release.
His paintings evolve within prepared settings in which chromatic impulses, layered surfaces and controlled chance form atmospheric spaces of resonance.
Dehi approaches painting as a physical thinking space — a field in which movement, material and inner topographies enter into dialogue. His practice oscillates between structure and surrender, resulting in works that hold tension while remaining open.
His large-scale compositions are characterised by luminous colour, gestural presence and a distinct sense of process.
